5 Stars Impressive so far
I’ve only had this set for about a day, but I am very impressed. (Hope I don’t “jinx” myself too early.) I spent a good 2-3 months researching flat screens, and this one seems to be almost universally hailed as a great product. Amazon dropped the price nearly $80 in one night so I placed my order, even though I was sure they would lower it again. And they did, but no big deal. The free delivery was nearly flawless and setup was easier than I anticipated. The delivery guys set up the set and were out of here in about 10 minutes. The picture quality is great, and I am astounded at how much more I enjoy even older movies. My only complaint at this point is that it seems the extended warranty from Panasonic costs a lot more and offers much less than the plan offered by Amazon. I opted for the four year plan offered here, and hope I don’t have to use it.
4 Stars Great TV here are the lows.
The glass panel creates a double image from some angles, and it might be the quality of the video but some pixalization is still visible. newer stuff on blu-ray looks phenomenal.
5 Stars Merry Christmas!!! 2008
I’m not a TV geek, but after researching as much as I could on line, and stopping in a couple of stores to make some comparisons, I couldn’t be happier with the choice I made. The color is excellent, the blacks are defining, the size is perfect for the space. But what caught my attention the most was listening. With the TV on in the other room while preparing dinner I was listening to what my husband was watching. The sound was different than the antiquated set we had and reminded me of being at the movies. High def makes football games feel like you’re in the stands. My son loves it! We’re all extremely pleased.

5 Stars Highly recommended
As always, I looked over the low ratings and two mention motion blur. Quite honestly, I have no idea what these people are talking about. Plasma by nature handles fast refreshing and motion blur is a problem with LCD. That is exactly why I did not by an LCD and bought a plasma (not to mention fabulous blacks and contrast). It’s too bad these people didn’t investigate other much more likely sources for this problem - cable or satellite feeds, connections, cables… I am 100% sure there problem has nothing to do with the set.
For two months I have had this TV and it has met all my expectations and alleviated any fears or worries. Plunking down so much for a TV is a big gamble. I hesitated for some time on so many sets, but now that I did it I am very happy.
Advantages: price, contrast, colors, better picture than any LCD under $2500
Disadvantages: electrical consumption, worrying about burn in even though it is no longer anything to worry about!
