5 Stars Excellent size for the bedroom
I was very impressed with all of the features and the picture is very clear and the colors are vivid. It was very easy to set up and connect to my HD satellite receiver, DVD player and even my old VCR.

5 Stars Excellent Quality for a Great Price!!!!
I bought this TV during Black Friday for my girlfriend from TigerDirect through Amazon. Let me just say I have yet to find anyone match the price I paid for this Sony 32″ LCD TV. This includes online stores and the retail stores including a Sony Outlet. The picture is crisp and setup was literally less than 7 minutes. In no time I was receiving amazing pictures from my satellite receiver. I can’t wait to hook up my Blu-Ray DVD player. For the price you can’t get a better quality HDTV and hey….It’s a SONY!!!!!

5 Stars Perfect HDTV for bedroom or 1st HDTV
I wanted a larger TV to replace the old 22″ 720P HDTV I had in the bedroom, but I couldn’t justify spending a huge amount of money. I’ve been checking prices and comparing TV’s for about 2 months. At this screen size, I can’t tell the difference between 720P and 1080P. I got this TV on sale at Thanksgiving for the exact same price as some other lesser brands at the same size. I think it is the perfect TV for the bedroom. The sound is decent and the picture is fantastic. Plus, it’s a Sony product, so I am MUCH more comfortable about the quality than some of the no name brands I see in this price range. Through my job, I know Sony has extremely demanding quality standards. This means fewer problems and lower failure rates. I’ve read of people buying a no name “doorbuster” and then buying an extended warranty because they were nervous about it. For about the same price, you can get this TV, the quality of the Sony name and a good warranty. I also already own a Sony 50″ 1080P LCD TV, I’ve had it for a year, never had any problems and love it also. The TV remote is basic, but that is fine with me.

5 Stars WOW!
My first HDTV! I waited until the prices came down to earth and this Sony was more than reasonable in the price. The picture with widescreen HD content is unreal–saw National Geographic HD show was blown away! This is one tv with style–has a clear glass panel with the indicator lights “floating” in it! I do not know how Sony did this? It is much better looking than the Sony Bravia M-Series KDL-32M4000! Standard def content is okay–but that is not the TV fault. One should really opt for a HDTV cable box or you can use the “QAM” tuner which picks up Hi-Def signals right from the cable feed! Hi-def content will amaze you!

The viewing angle is is indeed 178 degrees–only issue might be the picture is somewhat washed out from the side–but still watchable! This size “32″ is the prefect all-around size–can be used as a small main tv and what a bedroom TV! This Sony is replacing a trusty Sony 27 inch Trintron and this tv screen is like a movie screen by comparison! Bravo Sony!

5 Stars Great
I really lucked out, I got this TV at the LOW price of $495.00 at 1 A.M. on black Friday. I don’t know if that’s the reason for the price drop but this is the lowest price I have even seen this TV around. The TV came quick only took a week. Free shipping ( can’t go wrong with that ) I think this is a good TV for a smaller room. It’s also a great starter TV. In my opinion I think the 720p is not bad, I don’t have HD yet and the picture is still nice. The sound is not bad either I know some people are weird about TV and the sound quality, this sound is shockingly good and it works for me. Later I will be getting a sound system and what not, but I am in no rush. I will make sure to post an update when I get HD, and what not. PS3

5 Stars Sony 37L4000 WOW
I had looked for a long time for an HD LCD TV. I was very reluctant to buy, as I wanted an excellent TV for a great price. We looked at many tv’s at all the typical stores and finally decided on Sony, as we have always had good lcuk with Sony. Then the big question, what size and what resolution. We took measurements and decided 37″ was just right for our room. Then the resolution. Had to be 1080p right, wrong. You don’t have to have the highest resolution all the time. The 1080 signals come in great in on the 720. Remember it is still an improvement over the CRT that you are upgrading from. Now where to buy the tv. Checked all around, watched Amazon for several weeks, noticed the price dropping and kept watching. Finally got to my price point and I bought. Next week the price went up by $150. Amazon delivered, arrived perfect and they set it up. It is AWESOME! I am extremely happy with my decision. I would do this over again. Now for the TV in the family room…..

5 Stars Great TV
Quick delivery, excellent product. I like the fact that I can hook my laptop up to this TV and get HD quality internet broadcasting.

5 Stars Perfect TV for me
We looked a few brands of TV, Vizio, Samsung, and Sony. We found that Sony has the best picture quality, that is, more realistic color and undistorted details. Samsung seems a bit too bright for me. And the size

turned out to be perfect for my 12′x12′ living room (I originally thought about 42′ and 40′ TV). we are happy with it.

5 Stars Picture Perfect
This Sony Bravia 37″ HDTV is picture perfect right out of the box. The delivery was early and set up was friendly and fast.

5 Stars Great flat screen TV
Sony Bravia L-Series KDL-37L4000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

For the price I paid I do not believe anyone can match this purchase. The sale price included shipping, delivery, unpacking and setup where I wanted it. Although it’s not the Hi Def 1080p, I really don’t notice the difference between 720 and 1080. Perhaps if I were to look really close, I might see some difference, but I am totally satisfied with the great picture this set provides. Also, I highly recommend using the HDMI cable with the TV. (This is not included, but can be purchased at a number of on-line sites at a very inexpensive price. Get two if you’re going to use Blue Ray or a DVD player capable of HDMI.) I am not using a separate audio system, but the built-in speaker system is quite adequate. I’m really surprised at how easy it is to customize the desired settings for both picture and sound. To say I’m happy with my purchase is an understatement. Thank you Amazon.com!

4 Stars Great TV - even better when you consider low price!
Bought this as Wally Mart 2 weeks ago and it worked great right out of the box with minimal 10 minutes of unpacking and setup, just like any typical Sony Bravia. Picture is great but I do like our bigger 40″ Sony Bravia - just a “bigger” picture. HOWEVER, for only $686, this 32″ TV just can’t be beat in my opinion. Of course, we don’t need 1080 technology because it’s just a bedroom TV for us - no gamebox use or blu-ray. But this TV sure kicks arese compared to our old bedroom tube TV. The only thing I don’t like about this TV is it takes about 12 seconds to actually come to life once it’s turned on with our Comcast remote and it’s a little sluggish when changing channels, especially hi-def. Our 40″ Bravia that I bought 2 years ago does NOT do either of these things. I’m not sure why this one takes so long, but once it’s turned on, it’s ok.

4 Stars Great TV for Price and for Bedroom!
My first flat panel after years of projector and tube tv. I LOVE the simplicity of set and AMAZING picture. It’s perfect size for bedroom and sitting on dresser. I agree that it should have swivel base but fortunately I don’t have to move it.. it’s directly facing bed.

I bought it last nite and setup was so quick and easy. I attached an over-the-air antenna I bought for $30 and let the TV find the stations. This all happened very fast. Was very impressed with HDTV broadcasts.

Then plugged in cheapie DVD player and only had the standard video connector (didn’t have component cables available) and was very surprised at how good the picture was.

It only has two HDMI but also two Video, two Component, and PC input.

I think the blacks are amazing for LCD and for the price really can’t be beat.

Also like that it’s all flat matte finish and glass.. no annoying reflections.

Time lapse from walking in door to laying in bed watching TV on a DVD was 20 minutes tops.

My dad has a more expensive set with a more complicated remote. I love this simple remote.. i guess a backlight would have been nice.. but it’s so easy. My dads remote still has me guessing and hunting through way too many buttons.

The Sony Bravis –an outstanding TV for the money, great picture and a quality product

3 Stars non-owner, but a watcher
After 3 hrs. of watching this very same TV yesterday in a hospital waiting room.

At first I thought neat. But the longer I looked I noticed that the picture would become washed out. The far left and right edges were blurry as in warping. They had it set to CNN and whenever Wolf Blitzer stood to the side his shoulder would elongate and double in size. CNNs bottom running ticker would come and leave the screen warped and blurred. Maybe it just wasn’t properly adjusted when installed.

Update: Back to same waiting room, still CNN, and someone had adjusted the picture to a smaller size. It no longer covered the whole screen. Maybe 3/4. Solved all the above problems but at the price of much screen real estate.

5 Stars Great bang for the buck HDTV
I’m pleased with everything about this HDTV. Great picture and very decent sound. I’m not a video “connoisseur” but I’ve learned you get addicted pretty quickly to HD channels! Everything just worked out of the box and the operation, menuing system, etc. is very easy to use and straightforward. It’s a very attractive unit that is gratefully lacking the “piano black” finish that just about every other HDTV has these days. The matte finish is much more elegant. I have HDTV cable connected via HDMI, Apple TV and DVD connected via component cable. All sources work and look great and everything has worked fine.
